A note from Mr Pardini

I hope everyone enjoyed a restful break over the recent holidays and is ready and recharged as we head into Term 3!

NAIDOC Week

What a great afternoon of activity to celebrate NAIDOC week. Thank you to the staff for organising various stations around the school celebrating our Indigenous culture.

NAPLAN

This week families whose children sat the NAPLAN in Term 2 (Years 3 & 5), will receive their individual student report. Please check your child's bag for an envelope containing the results.

Lightning Carnival

It's take two for this carnival! You will recall last term the weather meant this day had to be postponed. We look forward to meeting at Boyup Brook for this carnival. A letter was posted to all families from Years 3-6 yesterday on SZapp with information about this day. Please refer to this if you have any queries about the carnival itself.

Enjoy the remainder of the week. I look forward to seeing some of you at tomorrow's Lightning Carnival at Boyup Brook.

Carlo Pardini

NAIDOC Week Activities

NAIDOC week is an annual celebration in recognition of the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginial and Torres Strait Islanders. NAIDOC week provides the opportunity for all Australians to learn about First Nations cultures and history. Yesterday at St B's all students participated in activities including craft, puzzles, colouring, making damper, eating kangaroo stew, and planting in our bush tucker garden.
