A note from Mr Pardini

Lightning Carnival

Go St Brigid's! What a fabulous day last Friday at the Lightning Carnival in Boyup Brook. Congratulations to all the children in Y3 to Y6 who took part in Netta, Netball, Soccer and Football - you were all amazing! Well done, in particular to our Netta and Football teams who once again walked away with the shield - two years in a row! A big thank you to Mrs Beesley and all the other staff who coached teams on the day. Thanks to all those who were able to attend and cheer on the children!

School Disco

The P&F are keen to host their annual disco next Friday 4 August. This event is being coordinated by the Year 6 parent group. The flyer below has all the information you need. Please note, entry to the disco will have both cash and EFTPOS facility, but once inside, there will only be cash sales.

Confirmation

On Sunday 13 August at 9.00am, we will celebrate the sacrament of Confirmation with Levi, Simona, Jaimee and Sam. We hope you can come along and share this sacrament with these children. Following Mass, there will be a morning tea in the hall. If you could bring a plate of food to share we would also appreciate it. Bishop Holohan, together with Father Roshan will celebrate this Mass.

Year 4 Assembly

A reminder, the first assembly for this term is next week on Friday 4 August. Please note the time of our assemblies has changed to 8.45am. We hope you can join us.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Carlo Pardini
