A note from Mr Pardini

Dear Families,

Rosie's Recipes

Do you have a recipe that you would like included into the Parish recipe book? If so, they would love to hear from you. Please email all recipes to the Parish secretary Yvonne Ward at stbrigidsbridgetown@bigpond.com

If each family sent in a recipe, that would be appreciated.

PP-Y2 Liturgy

Following the weekday Parish Mass next Wednesday, our Early Year classes will gather in the church for a small Liturgy celebration. Please come along and join us at 10.00am in the church.

Swimming Carnival

Thank you one and all for making our Swimming Faction carnival a great day last week. It was so great to get involved in the team spirit of the day and celebrate everyone's achievements in the pool. The Year 6 Faction Captains did a wonderful job assisting with the marshalling and general 'crowd control'. The carnival ran very smoothly thanks to the organisation of Mrs Beesley who ensured everyone had a go. In two weeks, we look forward to coming together once again, this time for the Interschool carnival. This is the first year in some time that the carnival will involve three schools (St Mary's Boyup Brook, Bridgetown Primary School and St Brigid's).

Parent Teacher Meetings (Tuesday 26 March)

The parent meetings are fast approaching. Please take the time to book a session with your child's teacher. Interview time slots commence at 12.30pm on Tuesday 26 March. A reminder to everyone, on this day we will close the school at midday (12.00pm) so all teachers can accommodate these meetings. Your support arranging for your child to be collected at 12.00pm on this day is appreciated. The on-line booking system is located on the home page of SZapp.

Three Year Old Pre-Kindy Information Session

An information session will be held during the final week of this term on Wednesday 27 March at 8.45am in the Pre-Kindy classroom. This session is for parents of children commencing our Three Year Old Pre-Kindy program next term. Supervision will be available for the children to play outside during the meeting so we can chat about the program and explain all the relevant details for the sessions this year.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Principal

P&F Movie Night

Harmony Week

St Brigid's will be celebrating Harmony Week on Thursday 21st March. On this day, students are allowed to wear an orange accessory eg (ribbon, socks etc) for a GOLD coin donation.

The committee have organised for each student to decorate a paper doll.  A Multicultural Display will be set up in the undercover and a map will be available for students to add their names to show their family heritage and cultural diversity. We will also have some other class based activities too.
