A note from Mr Pardini

Dear Families,

Cross Country - Well done to all competitors at Tuesday's Cross Country. We managed to make it through the day relatively unaffected by the weather. Thank you once again to Mrs Beesley for her precise coordination of this year's event. I commend all students for having a go at this race and look forward to the next cross country instalment which is the Interschool on Friday 7 June. Students who qualified (from Years 3-6) will join around 300 other students at East Manjimup Primary School.

Year 6 Kearnan Orientation Day - Yesterday our Year 6 class enjoyed a day to experience life as a 'Middle School' student at our regional sister school Kearnan College. Over the course of the day, the students tried their hands at Science, Art, Woodwork and Cooking - I was lucky to have tried a cheese scone, and they were delicious!

The Principal of Kearnan College, Mr Ben Priest reiterated to the students the importance of early enrolment for Year 7, 2025. Parents, if you are interested in finding out a little more, please contact the College for a tour of the school. Once again, the Year 7 class for 2025 is expected to be quite large, so enrolments should be received by the end of this term. Please contact Kearnan College if you have any queries on 9777 0677.

Pupil Free Day - Don't forget - tomorrow is a pupil free day for St Brigid's! Our staff will be learning about a new whole school 'friendship' program we are introducing in the school called 'U R Strong'. With Monday being a public holiday, we welcome all students back on Tuesday 4 June.

Pre-Primary Assembly - Our Pre-Primary assembly is on next week. We look forward to celebrating with the PP class next Thursday 6 June at 8.45am in the hall.

First Holy Communion - At the end of next week, please join us for the sacrament of First Holy Communion on Sunday 9 June at 9.00am.  Following Mass there will be a light morning tea in the hall and we ask you for bring a plate of food to share. The Year 4 class has been preparing for this Mass and we look forward to sharing it with you.

SEQTA Engage - School Reports - Please contact the office if you are not set up to receive school reports electronically. All children from Pre-Primary to Year 6 will receive their reports via SEQTA Engage in the final week of this term. You will have the option to print your own reports at home should you wish, in the meantime, all families are required to setup their SEQTA account.

Enjoy the long weekend and may your umbrellas be working!

    Cross Country Results

Congratulations to all our students who competed in the cross country on Wednesday. A special mention to our Pre-Primary class who did this event for the first time, you all had a go at participating and gave it your best - well done, you were all amazing!

Thank you to our Year 6 students for assisting on the day and encouraging all the younger year groups along the way - great job!

    SEQTA Engage - Student Reports

All students reports Pre-Primary to Year 6, will be issued to parents via SEQTA Engage.

This method of issuing reports via a digital platform allows parents to have constant access to your  child's current and past semester reports, they can also be easily shared to other family members (for example, Grandparents).

Most families will be familiar with SEQTA Engage from last year, if you have forgotten your username or password please contact the school asap and we can send you a re-set email.

All families who are new to the school this year have recently been sent an email, this included a link on how to set up your account.

We encourage all families to download the app if you haven't already, and of course if you encounter any issues please contact the school office and we can assist.

Please see below for the icon of the SEQTA Engage app.
