week 1, Term 4

Welcome back to Term 4

Welcome back to school and I hope everyone enjoyed the break over the school holidays and are feeeling ready and refreshed for a busy final term! Term 4 is only 9 weeks for our students and we also have 2 pupil free days in Week 6 (Mon 14 Nov & Tue 15 Nov). If you don't have a copy of the Term 4 Planner please call into the office. We will also be adding events to the school calendar within SZapp.

If you are reading this newsletter then obviously you have installed our new school app, so thank you! If there is another parent/caregiver in your family who has not installed the app please remind them to do so. Remember we are more than happy to assist if you have any issues navigating the installation or using SZapp. 

A few things to look out for coming up this term ...

- Athletics carnival (Fri 4 Nov)

- Blues Weekend Camping - P&F fundraiser (Fri 11 Nov to Mon 14 Nov)

- Swimming Lessons PP-Y6 (Week 7 & 8)

Thanks to all for dressing your children in their summer uniform, unfortunately such a chilly start to the term! If you require any uniform items please order via CDF Pay online or come into the school office.

Norne Playground

If you were driving past school during the holidays you probably noticed the new playground being built - or at least your children would have noticed! It looks absolutely amazing and we couldn't be happier with how it has turned out. The students are all waiting patiently for the 'soft fall' to be installed before they can enjoy playing on 'Norne'.

Y6 Camp

After initially being booked for the end of Term 3, our Year 6 class finally left for their camp on Tuesday. They travelled to Fairbridge Village in Pinjarra and are enjoying a funfilled 4 days away. We will welcome the Year 6's back to school Friday afternoon - no doubt some very tired kids - having made some wonderul memories! Thanks to Mr T for organising the camp and Mrs Liddelow and Jess Oliver for attending camp.

Y5 Camp

Yesterday we farewelled the Year 5 students as they left for their camp to Metricup, with 3 busy days of great fun around the Margaret River and Yallingup region. Thank you to Mrs Price and Mrs Tuck who have organised and accompanied the class on this adventure. The Year 5 students will also be returning on Friday afternoon!
