A note from Mr Pardini!

Dear Families,

P&F Quiz night - Thank you to our P&F for organising this event, I think it is safe to say everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves - after all, who doesn't love a quiz night! We look forward to the next one!

Assembly - We look forward to hosting our Merit Certificate and MJR assembly at 8.45am tomorrow morning. Weather permitting, this will be held on our basketball court outside.

School Photo Day - Our school photo shoot is this coming Tuesday 22 October. A reminder, all children are to wear full summer formal uniform. This does include the knitted wooden 'v' neck jumper. We will assist any families who need help with an item of formal clothing, simply call the front office. Please see the note below regarding what your child needs to wear.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Carlo Pardini

Principal

Garden Club News

A big thank you to our P&F for their contribution to the St B's Garden Club. We have bought soil to top up our garden beds along with a Lilly Pilly tree in our native garden and new seedlings for our plant pods in the Kindy/Pre-Primary area. Thank you, from the "Garden Club", Mrs Lidds & Mrs Turner!

Socktober

In Term Four, St Brigid’s will be working with Catholic Missions to support the Don Bosco Caring Centre in Mongolia. By focusing specifically on this centre, our students connect directly to make a difference to support children from disadvantaged and vulnerable backgrounds. The video link attached will be shared throughout our classes and teachers will explore the impact we can make globally as part of our learning. https://youtu.be/hk9H9s6XtNc

Please note, as a school we are not choosing the online fundraising model but instead will host our own activities on Thursday 24 October. These include:

  • 10 am whole school Liturgy hosted by Kindy to Year Two (held in the Church)
  • Recess & lunch soccer – whole school using soccer balls made in D & T
  • Fun socks – gold coin donation
  • Icy pole treat – gold coin donation
  • Students can also choose to donate additional coins on the day.
